The Corte Guastalla Relais was extracted from a large countryside court whose most ancient parts date back to 1400. The renovation used local “soft” materials such as walls treated with whitewashed plaster and local clays.  In the large court an ancient vegetable garden was reintroduced, as was typically used in Venetian rural courts. In the external area a swimming pool and park were made, enhancing a small water stream that runs alongside the property.
